Work With Me

Most of the people I work with are used to operating at a high level. They are capable, experienced, and successful , but at times find themselves carrying more pressure than is sustainable.

When that pressure builds, thinking narrows. Decisions feel heavier. And even small things can start to feel disproportionately difficult.

My work is designed to quietly restore clarity, control, and perspective.

How I Work

This is not open-ended therapy. It is structured, focused work designed to help you:

  • Think clearly under pressure

  • Regulate stress and emotional reactivity

  • Rebuild confidence in your own decision-making

Most clients experience a meaningful shift within the first few sessions.

A Note on Fit

This work is most effective for people who:

  • Are used to taking responsibility

  • Value discretion

  • Are ready to move forward, not analyse the past indefinitely

If that resonates, we can start with a conversation.

About Terry Corby

Terry Corby works with senior leaders, founders and high-performing individuals to help them regain clear, controlled thinking under pressure.

His work sits at the intersection of cognitive performance, behavioural psychology and real-world executive experience, grounded not in theory alone, but in decades of operating in complex, high-stakes environments.

Before developing the Calm Authority Method™, Terry built a career working alongside senior decision-makers across business, finance and professional services. This experience exposed a consistent but rarely discussed challenge: even the most capable individuals can lose clarity when cognitive load becomes too high. What distinguishes Terry’s work is his ability to articulate, and practically solve this problem.

Drawing on both professional experience and deep study in solution-focused hypnotherapy, Terry developed the Calm Authority Method™: a structured approach that explains how the brain responds under pressure, why clarity is lost, and how to deliberately regain control.

His approach resonates particularly with individuals who appear highly capable externally, yet recognise that maintaining focus, composure and mental clarity often requires significant internal effort. Terry’s work is defined by precision, discretion and results. He does not focus on surface-level stress management. Instead, he helps clients understand how their thinking changes under pressure — and equips them with the tools to restore calm, effective decision-making in real time.

Alongside his private practice, Terry is also the founder of Good Business Pays, a nationally recognised initiative focused on improving payment culture and business integrity in the UK. This work reflects a broader commitment to clarity, fairness and better decision-making at both individual and organisational level.
